Another LiewCF Money generating website – BearThePooh.com
LiewCF is a very popular blogger in Malaysia who leads his life with blogging. He makes full use of his websites (blogs and forums) to snatch every penny from internet advertisers. Now LiewCF is working on a Winnie the Pooh blog. You can have a visit to his new blog BearThePooh.com which had its very first post on Wednesday, June 14th, 2006. How do I know that this is LiewCF’s blog? When I first saw the link on LiewCF.com, I thought it is just a link exchange. But as I visited the blog, I can tell that it uses the same theme like Ideal Gadget blog. Then I take a look into Google AdSense and Chitika e-MiniMalls codes. Yes, the publisher ID is same with LiewCF. The content building is about the same in LiewCF Tech Blog. Bear The Pooh aggregates news and info about Winnie the Pooh.
This is another niche blog by LiewCF after his Gadget blog and Mac blog. You will expect to see ads because this site belongs to LiewCF. He quits his job to be a blogger and a blogger also needs money to eat. Bear the Pooh is monetized by Google AdSense, Chitika e-MiniMalls, and Amazon.com. And now I’m wondering why LiewCF chooses Winnie the Pooh as his new niche. Does he love Winnie the Pooh or just for the sake of money-making?

I hit 1000 visitors per day
My traffic is going through the roof due to my post about footballers’ girls in conjunction with FIFA World Cup 2006. It all started with Abigail Clancy, partner of England footballer, Peter Crouch. For the search term “Abigail Clancy” my post is ranked as number one. From that day, my daily hits are about 600. Then, as World Cup was over and people are busy with Zizou’s head-butt, I’ve thought that my traffic will come to a normal level. But it wasn’t. I hit 1000 daily visitors for the first time. The traffics are mainly from Google. If you are searching about a girl of a footballer e.g. barthez wife, you will see somewhere on the first page my post about Footballers’ Girls – PartII. This is my sitemeter graph.

Although the trend is not so stable, but I’m still happy. And a question pops up into my mind. Should I blog only about tech news and computer, or should I blog what I want to blog and what people want to read?
