Apple TV forces its users to do self upgrade

Your computer is the center of your digital life. Your TV is the center of your entertainment life. But what if you want to watch movies, TV shows, movie trailers, podcasts, and photos from your computer on your TV? At $299, Apple TV brings iTunes to the big screen.

Apple TVs are now delivered to the users. But, many of the users are not satisfied with what Apple gives them, at least in term of technical specifications.

Apple TV is equipped with 1GHz Intel Processor and 40GB hard disk, which might be better if it is delivered with 80GB or 120GB. Besides, Apple TV supports only iTunes and MPEG-4 videos. If you want to play other format, you must first convert the files into Apple TV format. But, some hacks can be done to make your Apple TV to play other video formats, such as Xvid, Divx and WMV. I don’t have any idea of limiting the supported video formats. If Apple could think of it…
