Filem Rock 2005
ROCK is about a group of young teenagers in a rock band, who wanted to be a famous rock band in 80’s. The main character is Zubir a.k.a Zack, with his friends Jijo (bass), Black (drum) and Amy (vocal) faced many obstacles to become a successful rock band (Rimba Bara).
My first impression was: This movie would reveal the history and the scene of 80’s rock era. But I was wrong. This movie is just a comedy movie, which I think had been affected much by Stephen Chow’s films (the exaggerating jokes and the funny impressions of the actors). For those who love Stephen Chow’s movies, this is the Malay version.
But at the cost of RM1.4 million, I think that they should produce better film.

I went to the cinema and wasting my RM10. I didn’t know actually how people review a film. What must I put? The full stories?

This movie made me very sleepy. The beginning part was very good and i’ve laughed. But when it came to the middle part, i felt that their jokes were no better than senario jokes. I felt like going out of the cinema.
gosh… it’s BORING… but some of the jokes are pretty funny… there some parts that keeps my fren and i laughing til today… there should be less talking!!!!

so ..the story is great.. that was the exactly what happened during the years…
I brought the whole family there…and it worth every RM I spend.
Now, I only wait for their soundtrack. I Hope they should release it…

yup ..they spell roker like that.. Remember the scene that they stoled the bus seat .it is for real. During that time, every one is having a dream to form a rock band.. a very true statement.
the effect is, until today, people with a range age of 33-37 ,most of them can play guitar. and the most desireable shoe at that time is Aliph Search , btw, I have one with me …
