My favourite song for this week is Minah tudung by MMU students. It is based on one English song, but I don’t know its name. The lyric is very offensive, but it’s the reality in Malaysia now. I don’t mean to be offensive, but just as a food of thougt.

The song doesn’t say that we can judge the level of imaan through hijab. It is only about the misbehaviour of people who are wearing hijab. And for your information, I do believe in Hadith.
Should one believe in Hadiths which are compiled 200 years only after The Prophet’s death? Are we saying that this hadith is so accurate, we should ignore what it says in the Quran. Hence, are you saying that Al-Quran is incomplete?
Let’s do some logic thinking. A great teacher told you something 5 years ago. Would you still remember what is said, word by word? Would everyone in the class as you have the same way of expressing/conveying the message after 5 years? The probability is too low! And yet, even when Hadiths of Bukhari only represents 1.24% of the QURAN, why do we need follow him? Is not the QURAN itself enough for us?
Just think. If one follows ONLY the QURAN, the Islamic countries would be better off by now. Oh, haven’t you seen the website of Saudi Arabia or other middle eastern countries?

HAVE YOU ACTUALLY BEEN READING THE QURAN? Or you’re telling me this because people said it is in the Quran??
I have checked 4 QURAN translations (By Pikthall, Shakir, Yusuf Ali, and the other one is a Malay version). I’ve also asked an Arab the meaning of HIJAB/KHIMAR which means veil, drape, curtain… NOT tudung!!
No where in the QURAN is says “Cover your head/hair”, it does not even mention the word HAIR/HEAD. Check again surah An-Nur which MALAY PEOPLE says “Oh, but it is in the Quran!” The Malays simply ‘change’ the meaning from ‘veil’ to ‘panjangkanlah kain tudung sehingga dada’… huhhhh??? Does this make sense? Read the QURAN, don’t simply make your own statement without even bother to read/understand its meaning.
ISLAM says in the QURAN for the women;
1. Righteousness is the best clothes
2. Cover your bosoms
3. Lengthen your garment

The word in the QURAN is “hijab” and “khimar” just means cover, protect NOT tudung.

If GOD really wants women to cover their heads/hair, He would have said so clearly in the QURAN. He would have mentioned HEAD/HAIR instead of just BREATS. But GOD does not forget. GOD does not say so because He does not demand so. So, who are we to judge those who wear tudung and those who do not?
My point is clear.
Do not judge people who do not wear tudung. People who wear tudung does not mean they are more Islamic than those who do not! I am not asking people who wear tudung to take off their tudung!

2. Al-Hadith (Sunnah)
3. Ijma’ Ulama.

Last, but not least. It’s not about wearing tudung is superior than not wearing tudung. It’s about obedience to Allah order. That’s all. (Though some people make a weak statement about this issue)

Oleh itu perlu ada penterjemah yg faham ilmu Tuhan dan mampu menyampaikan maksudnya pada seluruh lapisan masyarakat. Bukan masyarakat manusia sahaja bahkan juga masyarakat jin sesuai dengan firman Tuhan “tidak aku jadikan JIN dan MANUSIA melainkan untuk menyembah akan daku.”
Firman Tuhan itu juga bagus untuk kita jadikan contoh dlm perbincangan ini. Buangkan hadis buat seketika. Disebut dalam firman itu “…. untuk menyembah akan daku.” Lalu bagi golongan anti hadis, cara bagaimanakah kamu menyembah Tuhan? Apakah yang dimaksudkan sebagai “menyembah?” kerana setiap yang dinamakan agama pasti di dalamnya ada penyembahan. Samakah penyemabahan antara Islam dan bukan Islam? Jika jawabnya tidak, lalu bagaimana cara penyembahan itu sepatutnya dan siapakah yang mengajarkannya sehingga menjadi ikutan hingga kini?
I really feel offended by the harsh words used for the lyric of the song. To the writer of the song, please take a good look at yourself first before trying to pass any remarks to others. To Ida Tasha, please do some more research about “tudung” by checking the Al-Quran & As-Sunnah before saying “what God really wants” or “God must clearly say what his demand is”, because it really shows how much you know or do not know about Islam at all.

Sila semak apakah pakaian kita bertepatan kehendak agama. Tambahkan bacaan mengenai hal ini dan bertanyalah pakar agama.
