hundertwasserhaus

At the first glance, I thought this picture is only a painted picture or it is from a film. But I was wrong. This is a real house in Vienna, Austria, called Hundertwasserhaus. The idea of this house is from Friedensreich Hundertwasser, an Austrian architect and painter. The house was built between 1983 and 1986 by architect Univ.-Prof. Joseph Krawina featuring uneven floor, a roof covered with earth and grass, and large trees growing from inside the rooms, with limbs extending from windows. This is because the tolerance and irregularity of Hundertwasser. There is a wall about 500m for children to doodle.

The full with colour wall also divides the unit. Different house units will have different colours. This house contains 52 apartments, four offices, 16 private terraces and three communal terraces, and a total of 250 trees and bushes.
